If the chicken suit fits...

This was just too good to pass up. And it gives me one more chance to plug Harold Ford, who will be running against one of these wonderful candidates:

"Corker worker, man in chicken suit have run-in"

Go two posts down for the info on how you can help Congressman Ford.

I am reminded of something my father would say--he was a Viennese war refugee--he would throw up his hands in disgust and say "Only in America!"

I gotta be like Papa and agree--this is just outright weird. This is America, it's a place where differing opinions are allowed, but right now the political atmosphere in our beloved country has become so polarized that we have chickens in cars escaping from irate political employees by driving into them, or conversely, irate political employees bashing into cars to prevent chickens from escaping.

So far there's not enough information from the police to know the truth and as such I obviously can't comment on who did what and to whom, but I can comment on that the American political realm has gone off the deep end. Political Polarization is ripping this nation apart and the people and their rights are the ones torn by it. We need to stop this hate and learn to come together and work for the people. We must stop this driven continuance to increase the polarization and alienation of the citizenry.

Lieberman I hope you lose big. You are an elitist corporatist who weakens Democratic unity and is out of touch with the majority of the Democratic public. Your position on Iraq is just one of your problems so don't be so blind as to think that it is your only weakness during this election. Your support of the bankruptsy bill was just criminal and very Republican. Time for someone to fill your Senate seat who cares about supporting Democratic unity and fighting for the geneal welfare of Joe Public.

Great Jane Hamsher/Huffington Post article on the Lieberman thing. Money quote on the Lieberman cut-and-run act from the Democrats:

"Joe's selfishness puts three hotly contested Congressional seats at risk, and threatens Democratic control of Congress in November."

anon: good article. my favorite part:

"Battle of the Yard Signs: Lieberman is definitely losing. Overheard at an event recently, "If this boils down to a competition over the most lawn signs, it'll be Ned vs. Coldwelll Banker."

Heh.

Still scratching.

Has Lmaont dumped his Halliburton stocks, and did he know that his business partner Vonage was outsourcing American jobs?

Yet another example of the problem some of the anonymous Lamont supporters here are having with getting their facts straight.

Lieberman was one of only 25 Senators to vote against the bankruptcy bill.
